  • Why choose us over other local competition?

    We are family-owned and operated and have been a local business in Safety Harbor for over 30 years. We strive to offer the best cabinetry value, best customer service, and best quality products possible. Not only will you be buying your cabinetry from us, but you are also buying our service and knowledge. You deal directly with the people responsible for the design and manufacturing of your new cabinetry. 

  • Where is your company/manufacturer located?

    We are proud to be a Safety Harbor business. Our administrative offices and manufacturing warehouse are in Safety Harbor. 

  • How long does it take from the time I sign up until my cabinets are ready?

    Production times can vary but your salesman will discuss our current production times at your first meeting.

  • Do the cabinets come with decorative hardware?

    Decorative hardware prices can vary from just a few dollars per piece to over $60 per piece. Therefore, we do not supply or include decorative hardware. However, the installation of the hardware is always included, and we do have options for purchase in our showroom.

  • Do you have a showroom?

    Yes. We do have a showroom. We have recently moved our corporate offices and have built a much bigger showroom for our customers. We have examples of a kitchen, an island, different bathroom vanities, colors, door styles, and much more. We are happy to assist anyone who would like to come and visit our showroom.   • Can I use the cabinets outdoors?

    We have special material that we use for outdoor cabinets that are made to withstand the Florida elements. If you are looking for outdoor cabinets, please let your salesman know during your initial meeting and they can review our outdoor options with you.

  • Do you offer a wide variety of cabinet colors and finishes? I don’t want the standard colors or finishes.

    Yes, we have a wide variety of color and stain options for cabinets. Being a fully custom manufacturer, we do all of our finishing in-house, and therefore can make a cabinet in almost any color or finish. 

  • Do the doors and drawers come with soft close hinges?

    All cabinets, doors, and drawers come with soft close mechanisms. This is a K&M Custom Cabinetry standard. 

  • Do the cabinets come in any other types of wood?

    Since we are fully custom, we can build the cabinets out of any type of wood you prefer. There is a price difference based on the type of wood you chose and is subject to supplier availability. 

  • Can I pay extra to have glass included with my design?

    Yes, we do offer glass doors with multiple types of glass.

  • Are your cabinets covered by a warranty?

    Yes! K&M Custom Cabinetry offers a one-year full warranty on ALL products.

  • Do you offer financing?

    No, we do not currently offer finance. All of our contracts have payment terms. We accept checks, cash, and most major credit cards. However, there is a fee for credit card processing. Please call our office at 727-791-3993 for any further financial questions.

  • What sort of products do you manufacture?

    K&M Custom Cabinetry specializes in residential and commercial cabinetry such as kitchen, bath, built-ins, wet/dry bars, entertainment centers, and much more. 

  • Are custom cabinets really expensive?

    At K&M Custom Cabinetry, custom simply means we will build our cabinets to suit you and your space by providing you with almost limitless possibilities for design. We encourage you to shop “The Big Box Stores” to see how we compare as we will beat them on quality, service, and value every time.

  • Can you help us meet our budget?

    Our goal is to provide you with the best value possible within your budget. We always try to maximize your dollars and put the money towards things that matter most to you. We will not sacrifice the quality of our work by using inferior materials or construction methods. We are happy to work with any budget and will provide you with the best options for your budget.

  • Do you build your own doors?

    We purchase our doors from one of the best kitchen door manufacturers in the USA. We have been working with them for over 7 years. The reason is to give you a huge selection of door styles to choose from and to give the best quality of door you can find.

  • We already have an interior designer/contractor, are you able to work with them?

    Absolutely. We will do everything possible to help you with your cabinetry purchase. We will deal directly with you, your designer, and the contractor to make the process go as smoothly as possible.

  • Is there a fee for the initial meeting at my home?

    No. K&M Custom Cabinetry has always given FREE estimates. 

  • How do I get started with K&M Custom Cabinetry?

    Working with K&M Custom Cabinetry is easy and hassle-free. Give us a call at 727-791-3993 or send us an e-mail at jessica@kmcabs.com or nathan@kmcabs.com. We will get to know more about your needs and schedule a visit to your home or office. We will then provide you with a free estimate for your custom cabinets. It is that simple.

  • What if I want to change the look of my current cabinets without buying brand new cabinets?

    If your cabinet boxes are in good shape, then refacing could be an option for you. It is a technique that allows you to change the style and color while maintaining your current cabinet boxes. Getting new doors can really help change the look of the cabinets too. Please call our office for an appointment as it is up to K&M Custom Cabinetry to decide if refacing is an option.
